Job Description: Office Manager

The Office Manager (OM) position fulfils nearly all clerical tasks for the school, acts as the school’s communications hub, and maintains an open office throughout the school day to meet the needs of parents, students, staff and other members of the community. The OM also actively engages in the educational program and community by their consistent support and assistance of teachers and careful attention and follow through in regards to the needs of the parent community. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Communications and interpersonal skills; clerical and computer skills; administrative experience in an educational setting with demonstrated leadership qualities. 

COMPENSATION:

• $28,000 – $32,000 depending on experience
• $4000 benefit package to be negotiated.
 

OVERVIEW OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Along with clerical tasks, the OM is responsible for:

*Admissions
*Attending board meetings
*Serving as communications hub for school, including sending out a weekly newsletter
*Leading and communicating with health related matters and emergency preparedness procedures
*Assisting in field trip coordination
*Supporting faculty and staff as needed
*Coordinating volunteers
